Land Surveyor Equipment
Cheshire Surveys Limited utilises the latest Leica equipment
Leica 1200 & 500 GPS Systems
This equipment has Real Time Kinematic technology, which means our surveyors are able to obtain 3D co-ordinates in real-time, after establishing control using RINEX data from Ordnance survey. With our GPS systems we have GSM phone link technology which can give a working radius of up to 20km from the base station. The GSM phone link can save a lot of time when establishing control on large sites.
We also have Leica “Smartnet” GPS systems. This means we are able to give real time co-ordinates immediately by using the Ordnance Survey Active GPS Network.
Leica 1100 & 1200 Robotic Instruments
These instruments are fitted with pin point reflectorless which means we are able to survey details which may be inaccessible or in hazardous areas without the need to gain direct access as no prism is used. This is very useful when surveying bridge soffits, apex and eaves of buildings and adjacent buildings to the survey area. All instruments are fully calibrated and serviced. On site checks will be made as well to make sure we are providing you with the most accurate information possible.
All our equipment is supplied by M&P Survey Centre, who offer excellent support.
N4ce Pro – by Applications in CADD
We use one of the best survey CAD software packages available, allowing us to produce 2D and 3D plans, elevation, sections, calculate areas & volumes, work out coordinates for setting out and a wide range of other features.
